Matrix Philosophy

As soon as I can get a hold of a transcript of the scene with Neo and The Architecht, I will analyze what was said. So, if anyone can help, please e-mail me. Also, if anyone has anything that you would like to hear my thoughts about, let me know!  Thanks!

The first thing you need if you are going to talk about philosophy is a topic.  Please email me at Answerman43@hotmail.com to ask questions, make comments, stuff like that.  And dont be afraind about asking any question in case you didnt understand something. I will answer absolutely anything you ask.

The stuff that appears in the Matrix can be hard to understand, but because I am godlike in my knowledge of The Matrix, I can answer any question. I'm going to start today with a topic I made up.

Why did the Oracle say to Neo that he was not not The One, but he then became The One?

.

The answer is quite simple.  My first point is that she says whatever is needed to be said.  Do you remember when she told Neo "What's going to bake your noodle later on is, would you have still broken the vase if I hadn't said anything?"  Now, let's play a little word game.  Lets add a couple words and take some out.  What I end up with is this: "Would you have still become The One if I hadn't said anything?"  I'll explain a little more. Since the Oracle knew what would happen in the future, she has the power to change it. (It's sort of a paradox, I know).  If she had said to Neo that he WAS The One, then he might not have become The One, for some reason, and she would know that. She also knew that if she said that he was NOT the One, then he would become The One. I know its a little confusing, but I hope I explained it well.  Until next time, I'll talk to you later.
